Mars Mata
Mars comes to us from the Rio Grande Valley in the south of Texas. She moved to Austin in early 2024, and finds joy in discovering new places. She has a background in childcare, art education, and project management.
To her, nothing is better than a good cup of coffee, having deep conversations, and starting new craft projects. Mars likes to consider herself a jack of all trades; Her favorite activities involve drawing, sewing, and cooking!
If there’s one thing about Mars, it's that she aims to uplift and encourage everyone she meets. Her favorite thing about Upside is getting to meet people from all walks of life and getting to see their stories told in unique artworks every day.
